Bright Horizons operates the center, which includes open classrooms, outdoor play spaces, sensory gardens, nutritious meals and snacks, and programs designed to support discovery-driven learning and movement.

The center was developed in response to a need Walmart associates had clearly identified. When associates were asked what they wanted most on the new campus, affordable, on-site childcare was near the top of the list. Working parents wanted quality care, strong educational programming, affordability, and less time spent commuting between work and childcare.

Located on Walmart’s new Home Office campus in Bentonville, Little Squiggles opened in May 2024 in collaboration with Bright Horizons. The 73,000-square-foot center serves children from infancy through pre-K and can accommodate more than 500 children, making it the largest childcare offering in Northwest Arkansas.
